This three-day event features family fun in our Fan Field with bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, and live entertainment!
The Makawao Stampede has grown from a local ranching competition into an internationally recognized event that attracts competitors from Hawaii, the mainland United States, and Australia, making it a cornerstone of Pacific rodeo culture. The Makawao Stampede will showcase skills such as Po’o Wai U (Hawaiian-style cattle roping) not seen anywhere else in the world.
Embrace the opportunity to connect with Hawaii’s ranching traditions and prepare to experience the aloha spirit and cowboy skills that have made this 70-year tradition one of the Pacific’s premier cultural celebrations.
