Join the Friends of HaleakalÄ National Park on the first Tuesday of every month for a service activity at the park's plant nursery in the Summit District of HaleakalÄ National Park, 9:00 am to noon. Help care for rare, endemic plants being propagated, and drive up to work location at the greenhouse. Participants should bring water, snacks, and their own gloves if desired. The park will provide other tools. Wear sturdy shoes, and in case of out planting work, bring a hat and sunscreen. On alternate months, some volunteers may also help in the adjacent museum.
