15TH ANNUAL WHALE TALES
PRESENTED BY WHALE TRUST
FEBRUARY 13-14, 2021
Whale Trust, in partnership with Drury Design, will present the first ever virtual Whale Tales event over Valentine’s weekend. The 15th Annual Whale Tales - A Virtual Experience will feature talks from world-renowned researchers on cetaceans and the ocean environment, showcase stunning underwater photography and video of whales, and include immersive and interactive educational opportunities presented by marine research and conservation organizations. Whale Tales - A Virtual Experience presents a unique opportunity for marine enthusiasts to hear first-hand what scientists are studying and discovering about the ocean and its inhabitants, no matter where they are. Presentations, a live marine expo, and check-ins from around the world will be held throughout the weekend. Registration is a minimum $60 donation and includes access to the weekend event and on-demand sessions for 30 days. Kama’aina and student discounts are available. The proceeds from this event go to the Whale Tales Beneficiary program, which has raised more than $822,000 to support marine research and education organizations, working to understand and protect whales, over the last 14 years. More information, including presenters, event schedules, and registration details are available online at WhaleTales.org.
Whale Tales is made possible through the generous support of many individuals and organizations. This year’s presenting sponsors are Makana Aloha Foundation and George and Marie Weis.
