FILM: "The US vs John Lennon"

Two free showings of the film “The US versus John Lennon,” a new look at the life and times of the great musician and peace advocate, will be offered on Thursday, April 2, at 6 and again at 8pm, in MCC Ka Lama 103 by the MCC Peace Club.

 

The film tells the true story of the US government’s efforts to silence John Lennon. Featuring extensive interviews with those who knew him best, this powerful new look at the life and times of John Lennon captures the mystique of the man, the ideals he fought for, and the price he paid.  Sponsored by the MCC Peace Club.
