Build a Home-Local style

Interested in learning about home building? All aspects of Home Building can be done by volunteers! Project Managers provide on-site training with needed materials/tools. Work alongside our Partner Families and learn about their struggles and about the difference you provide. Call atleast 3 days prior to your interested day for updated construction work plans, waivers and map directions. Waivers needed by all volunteers. Parental signatures needed for those under 18. Students aged 16 and 17 allowed on an active construction site, while 14 and 15 year olds need to prearrange their days. Building restrictions apply to all volunteers. Wear covered shoes, comfortable clothes to get dirty, sunscreen/hat. Bring gloves and own tools, if have. Bring your own water/lunch, in case of no lunch sponsor.
