Akaku TV Studio Youth Summer Camp #3 (ages 9-12)

Akaku TV Studio Youth Summer Camp programs offer a fun, technology-based TV production experience and a great place to meet new friends with similar interests. Four camp sessions are planned for the summer, beginning on June 24.

This is a day-camp program. All camps run Monday through Friday from 10:00am-4:00pm.

Two sessions are planned for youths ages 9-12 years. They will take place June 24-28 and July 15-19. Sessions for teens age 13-18 are slated for the weeks of July 8-12 and July 22-26.

Participants will learn broadcast television studio production skills while creating and producing fun and engaging show segments. Each week will culminate in campers producing their own unique program to air on Akaku’s cable TV channels as well as being posted online.

Applications are available by visiting the station at 333 Dairy Rd., Suite 104 or calling Akaku Maui Community Media at 871-5554. The fee for each week is $299 and the registration deadline is June 18, 2019. Camps may cancel if registrations minimums are not met. Applicants will be notified.
