Taste of School Gardens
Taste of School Gardens takes place Saturday March 9th at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Benefiting Grow Some Good, this annual premier local food event, features delicious creations from eleven top Maui restaurantswith an emphasis on locally grown produce. Guest will also enjoy select wines and beers, live entertainment and exciting live and silent auctions. This important community fundraiser supports Grow Some Good's school garden program, providing hands-on, outdoor learning experiences that cultivate curiosity about natural life cycles, connect students to their food sources, and inspire better nutrition choices for more than 4,000 youth in 10 schools throughout Maui.
Featured restaurants include: The Mill House, Aloha Mixed Plate, Duo at the Four Seasons, Cow Pig Bun, Fleetwood's on Front Street, Fork & Salad, Maui Breadfruit Company, Moku Roots, Nick's Fishmarket, Outrigger Pizza and Taverna.
