Lee Brice

Wednesday, November 28, 2018; A&B Amphitheater; 6:30 pm show/ 5:00 pm gates

Lee Brice returns to Maui after two hugely successful previous MACC concerts. He is a singing and songwriting craftsman, the kind whose boundless desire to hone his skills and relentless pursuit of perfection are matched only by his humility about the entire process. When one listens to his newest self-titled album, Lee Brice, the two-time CMA/ACM/Grammy Song of the Year nominee takes listeners to church, school, home, and out on a Saturday night. The album, released this past November, serves as a homecoming and a homing device on the essence of what’s defined the man who has written hits for Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, and the Eli Young Band. Lee wrote the first song to debut at #1 on Billboard's Country singles chart (Garth Brooks' "More Than A Memory"), broke Eddy Arnold's longest charting single record (56 weeks with his #3 "Love You Like Crazy") and helped the Eli Young Band, penning their winning Song of the Year at the ACM Awards with "Crazy Girl." Lee's debut album, Love Like Crazy, and its title track set a record in 2009 as the longest-charting song in Billboard's country history. His 2012 album, Hard 2 Love, featured three #1 singles, including the AMA and CMA song of the year winner, "I Drive Your Truck." His album, I Don’t Dance, which included the single, "That Don't Sound Like You," is a showcase for his painstaking approach to writing and recording, with his distinctive fingerprints clearly emblazoned on every element of the album.
