Kaulupono Productions presents Kumu Hula and Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning Male Vocalist Uluwehi Guerrero and Hālau Hula Kauluokalā in “Home Is Where The Heart Is”, an evening filled with traditional chant, music and hula. Join Uluwehi as he pays tribute in song and dance to some of his favorite composers and singers with popular standards and classics, accompanied by his Hawaiian band and the Kaulupono Chamber Ensemble, and featuring Uluwehi’s award-winning Halau Kauluokalā with over a 150 dancers. Other special guests include Lynn Araki Regan in traditional Japanese Shinbuyo Dance, and Na Leo Lani O Maui, a community choir co-founded by Uluwehi and co-directed with Gale Wisehart with beautifully-arranged classics.
