Public Introductory Ki-Aikido Classes

Ki-Aikido training will help you learn to avoid disturbing others or being disturbed by others. A Japanese Martial Art based on Zen principles, Ki-Aikido teaches practical self-defense with a peaceful mindset and calmness training through movement.
Maui Ki-Aikido will offer an introductory course in Ki-Aikido for adults and teens in Wailuku starting September 4 and continuing every Thursday night in September, 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at the Shunshinkan Dojo, 194 South Market, Wailuku, across from the Wailuku Gym.
Maui Ki-Aikido instructional staff, under the direction of Hawaii Ki Federation Chief Instructor Christopher Curtis, 7th-dan, will cover all aspects of Aikido training. The course fee of $40 includes the manual Ki-Aikido on Maui and is applied to the initiation fee if the participant joins Maui Ki-Aikido to continue training afterward.
