Gate opens at 6:30 pm, Concert at 7:30 pm
Wailuku – Bask in Hawaiian moonlight at a romantic evening concert on the beautiful grounds of Bailey House Museum. “Blue Hawaiian Moonlight” on Friday August 31st will feature slack key master George Kahumoku Jr. and students from the Institute of Hawaiian Music at UH Maui College. The gate will open at 6:30 pm with lei, food and beverages, including wine and beer, available for purchase. Come dressed from the 1940s through 1960s for a retro Aloha Wear contest. Bring the whole `ohana! Please no outside food, coolers or pets. Please bring blankets or low beach chairs. Tickets are $35 general admission, $25 Maui Historical Society members, and $15 for students age 12 through 18. Children under 12 are free. All proceeds benefit the Maui Historical Society.
The Maui Historical Society was founded in 1951 and is the oldest historical and preservation society on Maui. Its mission is to Collect, Preserve, Study, Interpret and Share the History, and Heritage of Maui.
