Maui Portuguese Cultural Club - Cultural Bread Baking Day
The Maui Portuguese Cultural Club will be baking Stone Oven Bread today and every first Saturday of the month at the Hale Mahaolu, Akahi, facility in Kahului. This traditional bread is baked in a wood burning, stone oven and sold for $6.00 (white bread) and $7.00 (cinnamon/raisin bread). Proceeds of the bake helps continue our scholarship program and fund club efforts in sharing our culture with the general public.
