H.E.A.L. - Helping Ease a Loss
The H.E.A.L grief support group meets weekly at Hospice Maui in Wailuku and is free of charge.
The group provides an opportunity to share your experiences and feelings regarding the death of your loved one and to listen to and learn from others. Participants do not have to have been part of Hospice Maui Services, but do need to have had a loved one die within the last 3 years. Participants share about the death of their loved one, how their grief is progressing, what has worked to help them, what challenges they are facing etc. We all grieve differently. Many people don't feel the need of a support group until long after the death of a loved one. It's alright to come whenever you feel up to it.
